Founded in 1949, Titirangi fire Brigade serves the communities of Titirangi, Green Bay, Waima and Kaurilands (approx. pop 17,000), along with back-up support to other fire areas. Operating out of a station located near the Titirangi village, it is staffed by up to thirty volunteers and supported Monday to Friday 7.00am to 5.30pm by a paid Yellow Watch crew of four.
The station has two pumps and a support van, along with a 1942 vintage fire appliance that is used for ceremonial purposes.
Management is provided by a Chief and Deputy Chief fire officers, supported by three Station Officers (including one paid Yellow Watch).
